Former Bodyguard Shengo Deane ‘Happy’ For Kim

Not too many Aussie blokes can lay claim to courting one of the most famous women in the world, but burly bodyguard Shengo Deane maintains he felt no regret when hearing his one-time fling Kim Kardashian was engaged.

The Sydney martial arts expert – who hails from Fairfield and shared a brief romance with the ubiquitous reality TV celebrity while protecting her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians – wished Kimmy K and her $2 million rock well after boyfriend of six months Kris Humphries proposed last week.

“I’m really happy for her,” Deane told Confidential. “Kim is such a sweet, nice person – she really deserves to be happy.”

Deane, who finished work on the show last year but remains in contact with Kardashian, is hoping the human headline will help set in motion his own behind-the-scenes series about Hollywood bodyguards.

“She’s a business woman, she knows exactly what she’s doing and we’ve spoken a bit about it – she’s keen,” he said.

We caught up with the hunky handler (yes he’s single) at the Ultimat Vodka launch on Wednesday night, where he confirmed rumours that women’s magazines have been “throwing” cash at him for the tell-all of his night with Kim.

“That’s something I wouldn’t do,” he said.
